Understanding The Dynamics of Domestic Violence.
During this episode, Dr. Watkins and Dr. Benjamin Keyes discuss the dynamics of domestic violence and its effects across the globe.
In this episode, Dr. Keyes shares how driving recklessly in a car because you are angry with someone, blocking the doorway to keep a person from leaving, and grabbing someone's wrist as they try to walk away are also forms of physical domestic violence.
He brings to awareness how there is a slightly higher average of domestic violence in Christian homes than in secular homes whether it is physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.
He also discusses how marriage is a partnership and women should have the same rights as men in the marriage.
Dr. Keyes is the Director for the Center of Trauma and Resiliency Studies at Divine Mercy University. He has been featured on CBN and has been recognized across the globe for his rehabilitation models as well as extensive knowledge in the area of abuse and rehabilitation.
